Another tip, this technique for getting rid of red-eye will come in handy if you take a lot of snapshots. The good thing about this one is that it leaves the shine on the eyes.

1. Open the image you want to edit. Select the brush tool.
   
2. Set the blend mode of the brush to Saturation and the foreground color to black. This will remove the red color of the pupil, but leave any reflections.
   
3. Use a small hard-edged brush to paint over the pupils.
