Naming Trends

For Dynamic Information Design: design and implement a data visualization interface about any subject. Goal for this project was to communicate trends in naming children while keeping a sophisticated and user-friendly design.

IEMS Website

2009

Freelance redesign + development for the Illini EMS. Project called for a new look that could be maintained with minimal knowledge of web programming. They also requested the dynamically-updating slideshow banner to display their volunteer work and training events.

Energy Bulbs Microsite

For Adv. Design for Networking: design and implement a 4-page Flash website about a "green issue," with two pages centered around an interaction, and one with a send-to-a-friend utility.

PictureWindow Ad

For Advanced 3D class: Design a print magazine ad featuring a fictional 3D product a new media designer would find useful.

Cal Poly Poster

Typography II class: Create a poster to promote the Cal Poly Architecture program using a provided photo and text, logo, and a relevant graphic translation.

Alien Invasion

Type II project: Create a poster for RIT's School of Design aimed at prospective students, both grad and undergrad. The goal was to appeal to all forms of designers and show RIT's practical attitude.

Geolab Panorama

Panorama render from the final project for QTVR class. Design and model a panoramic environment for interaction. Focus of this environment was on a rich, educational environment to teach geology with realistic and appealing 3D.

Laboratory Scene

Final project for 3D Form + Space class: model, texture, and light a complex scene with a large number of different objects. In addition to striving for photorealism, goal was to learn custom-painted texturing.

"1984" Dynamic Typography

Voice-to-Type project for Dynamic Typography class. Using only typography, animate a monologue or conversation appropriately to the audio. This animation based on Apple's "1984" Macintosh commercial.
