Ellen + Frogtopus~

Ellen Rockett is a designer, artist, and all-around geek, all of which she enjoys thoroughly. She is 19, a UIUC Laboratory High School alumna, a second year student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in New Media Imaging/Design. She hopes to become a concept artist for a company such as Cyan Worlds, Inc., though for the moment she's planning on working on design-for-web stuff. Ellen was homeschooled until she went to Uni High, except for 4th grade when she decided to give public school a try. After finishing 4th grade, she promptly returned to homeschooling, until enrolling at Uni High.

Ellen is 5'7", a Unitarian Universalist, an avid Mac fanatic, and spends her time in Photoshop rather than playing video games. She also likes table RPGs, webcomics, They Might Be Giants, and the colors blue and green. She has weird taste in clothing, does Tarot cards (the second 't' is silent, her deck of choice is the Hudes deck), and plays accordion (without guaranteeing quality). She loves it when people contact her and/or tell her they visited her website!

Ellen does freelance layout design, illustration, photography and photoediting, character sketches, and artwork. To get a price quote or contact her with questions, email her.

Frogtopus is kelly green, tentacled, and floats. She has a light green mark on her forehead, takes up about a little more than a cubic foot of space with her seven tentacles, and floats at about shoulder height. She sucks memories and blood from the necks of people. Frogtopus is a "psychic vampire," which is someone who feeds off of life or emotional force of other creatures.

Frogtopus was born in September 2005 and has kept Ellen company ever since. Frogtopus enjoys knives, playing the harp and stalking her victims. She likes it when people draw her, and really dislikes the color pink.

For those who are curious about Frogtopus's development, the following information is provided: A young frogtopus grows from a tiny fuzzball, to larger, feathery, floating ball, gradually developing longer streamers. These streamers thicken as the head develops, and finally the fully-grown frogtopus loses its soft feathery covering, revealing a smooth, snake-like skin underneath.

Frogtopus has an email account, so if you want to contact her, write an email and wait. Frogtopus is big on waiting, but she probably won't make you wait too long.

Prior to its discovery it is known as eka-francium, following the naming convention used by Mendeleev when he predicted future elements. Its atomic weight is 315 and volume is 84 cubic centimeters per mole. The radius of element 119 is 1.8 angstroms, and the density is 3 grams per cubic centimeter. The melting point is 17 degrees C and the boiling point is 630 degrees C.

rockettium.net + Rt Table~

rockettium.net started as a humble website on Ellen's school account, where only a few people visited it in its dusty corner of the internet. It was then 2003. In 2005, it became a full-fledged site with its own URL, and gained a web forum. The current form was released in 2006, when it shifted to a more concentrated focus with the intent of being updated frequently. Until v.2.0, rockettium.net had been more of a random-blurb site, with fairly constant content. Frogtopus only made guest appearances on the old site, rather than being a permanent resident. Because the switch from 1.2 to 2.0 reorganized files a lot, pre-2.0 links from outside may not work correctly.

Rt Table is the accompanying forum for rockettium.net. It has more than thirty spastic inhabitants, some of whom stop by more frequently than others. The Word Association topic is the most popular thread on the board, followed by Free Association and Never Ending Story. Please feel free to introduce yourself on the General Discussion>Introductions thread.
